@ Luxembourg

We were so close to the border, we couldn't resist a short visit to the capital of Luxembourg.

We had found a parking a little bit outside from where we walked maybe 20 minutes into the centre. We got a map from the tourist information which had a tour on it to see the important sights, which came very handy when you have no plan at all.

Notre-Dame Cathedral

Corona regulations everywhere

The shopping streets were full of all the most expensive brands of the world. We were fascinated that there were queues in front of shops such as Gucci and Dior. Why are people so desperate to spend their money on things they don't really need and which are highly overpriced?

Speaking of brands ;-)

The Monument of Remembrance usually known by the nickname of the Gëlle Fra - Luxembourgish for the 'Golden Lady', is a war memorial dedicated to the thousands of Luxembourgers who volunteered for service in the armed forces of the Allied Powers during both World Wars and the Korean War.

Parking for cars > 3,5t - very helpful
